EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Acting Chairman 

Rupert Davies 

Rupert has lived in New Milton all of his life apart from school and University. He works for his family owned department store, Smith Bradbeer, which has been part of the town for over sixty years and established for over one hundred and sixty five years. He is the youngest member of the town partnership committee.

Treasurer 

John Evans 

John Evans MSI, a Stockbroker for over 35 years moved to New Milton after marrying local girl Pam in 1971; they have one son, Gareth. Wishing to become involved in the community, John joined the Lions Club in 1972 and has been President on three occasions. In recent years, John was a Town Councillor, Chairing the former Town Project Committee and he is now Vice-Chairman of the local Chamber of Commerce.

Secretary 

Roger Dagnall 

Roger has lived in the New Forest area for the last 35 years and is now retired. He was previously employed by an international company at their research laboratories in Southampton as a Senior Research Scientist. He is a Chartered Mathematician and has a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering. Roger's interests are in the stage and he belongs to two local theatrical groups, Milton Musical Society and Christchurch Gilbert & Sullivan Society. He is also Treasurer of the Friends of Arnewood Practice in New Milton.
Steve Clarke Steve has lived in New Milton since 1993, but moved down from London full time in 1998 when he retired from the Metropolitan Police. He served mainly in East London and finished his police service as a Chief Inspector. During his service he was involved in planning the emergency procedures for the Canary Wharf area and finished his service in Newham as the Community Liaison Officer. He currently runs his own training consultancy offering courses on Personal Safety and Conflict Management amongst others, mainly within the health and social care sector but also within the security industry. In May 2007 he became a Town Councillor for Bashley Ward and is also actively involved with the Friends of Ballard Meadow as vice chair.
Adam Clewer I was born in Romsey, where my parents still live, and after leaving Romsey School in 1995 , I played an active role at Community Church in Southampton, where I was very much involved in the youth work they did in the city. I have now been involved in Youth Work for over 10 years. After leaving College, I worked in IT and Banking before taking up my current full time role at New Life Church, New Milton. I met my wife Sarah, who is from the United States, and who's family live in Pittsburgh. We married in 2002 and have recently had our first baby, a daughter named Eden Zoe. When I can, I enjoy Carp fishing and am sponsored by Fox international and Mainline Baits. My time in New Milton began in 2001 when I was employed as the Youth Pastor for New Life Church. I moved to New Milton soon after and I am now a member of the leadership team, and chairman of the New Milton Café Light Youth Project. I also chair a regional youth forum embracing groups from churches across the south of England from Littlehampton to Christchurch, and serve on various local community groups/projects including work with the Police, Arnewood School, and the Town Council.
Sarah Conacher Sarah is a local resident with 2 children who have been educated at The Arnewood School where she has taught for a number of years. Her role at school has changed over the years and as well as teaching she is also a deputy Community manager, a job which involves bringing the school and community together in various projects. Sarah is also a school sport coordinator working with the New Forest schools sports partnership to promote sport in all the schools across the New Forest.

Wyn Davies 

Wyn was a project manager with the marine consultants Three Quays Marine Services Limited, having previously spent 10 years with the Royal Corps of Naval Constructors. A fully qualified naval architect and a member of the Heritage Lottery Fund's Directory of Expert Advisors, he now divides his working time between historic ships and the RN's latest projects as a senior consultant with Frazer-Nash Consultancy.

David Hall 

David has been a New Milton resident for 8 years. He is a practicing Project Manager with responsibility for a budget of several million pounds and is an experienced Risk Management practitioner. David is a member of the Association for Project Management and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Clive Rigden 

With family connexions of 20 years, Clive has lived in New Milton since 1998. He is the founder and Managing Director of Eco-solids International Limited, an international waste processing technology company headquartered in the town and also runs a business consultancy, Rigden & Associates. Clive is active locally as a member of St. Mary Magdalene PCC, Chairman of the Parish Hall Committee and a Trustee of the New Milton Memorial Centre. Away from home, he is also a Pikeman in the Company of Pikemen & Musketeers of the Honourable Artillery Company, ceremonial bodyguard to the Lord Mayor of London. His leisure activities include membership of the New Forest Players, theatre, cinema and sailing from the Beaulieu River.

Neil Tungate 

Neil has lived in or near New Milton most of his life, having been educated at Ashley Junior and Brockenhurst Grammar schools, and is employed in an international company locally as a Quality Manager. He lives in Bashley with his wife, Betty, and is chairman of the Finance Committee of New Milton Town Council. Neil is also a member of the Bashley Village Hall Committee, a governor of Ashley Junior School, and a member of the Lions Club of New Milton.
